🔐 Privacy

Your route does not need a student dossier.

The early-access planner is designed to work without an account and without asking you to upload report cards, identification, or other student records.

01

Planner selections

Your selected countries, school stage, goal, and comparison choices are written into the page address so you can bookmark or share the route. Do not put a student’s name or other personal details into a shared link.

02

Technical delivery

Like most websites, the hosting service may process basic connection information needed to deliver pages securely, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access.

03

Official and community links

Links to education authorities and, as the library expands, independent community sources open services operated by other organizations. Their own privacy terms apply after you leave Study Abroad Anywhere.

04

Advertising and analytics

We use a first-party random session cookie that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity to measure visits, referring domains, campaign labels, public landing pages, and language. When you sign in, we link that session to email verification, checkout creation, and confirmed payment events for up to 90 days. These private analytics do not store your email address, IP address, full referring URL, or private document contents. They are not shared with advertising networks. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and the browser opt-out below disable new visit and account-attribution collection. Previously recorded events expire after 90 days; necessary account and payment records are separate.

To estimate visitor quality, we also measure whether a page was visible and focused for at least 10 seconds and whether an interaction occurred. We do not record keystrokes, form contents, pointer coordinates, or a fingerprint. These signals estimate engagement; they do not identify a person.

05

Institutional enquiries

Institutional enquiry details are stored so the site owner can respond. The owner can delete a request and its contact details. Do not submit student records.

06

Personal application tracker

When you sign in, we store your university projects, checklist items, deadlines, submission statuses, notes, and writing drafts under your account ID. These records are visible only to that account in the application. You can delete individual items or a school with its checklist and drafts. Do not enter identification numbers or upload student records.

07

Member sign in

Member accounts use a verified email address and a secure session cookie. We keep aggregate daily sign-in and registration counts, not passwords or email links in analytics. Short-lived protected identifiers limit repeated requests. Email sign-in is delivered through Resend when activated.

08

Subscription & payments

PayPal processes your payment. SAA stores subscription identifiers and payment status, not card details.

09

Institutional workspaces

Institutional workspaces store the contracting organization, staff names, email addresses and permissions, anonymized case inputs, report versions, shared tasks and notes, and access-management records on the server. Institution case records and staff permissions are separated by organization. The site owner records demonstration, contract and payment-confirmation references and access dates; institution administrators manage staff access within the agreed seat limit. Institution intake drafts and work notes are not backed up in browser local storage. Do not enter student names, passports, transcripts or sensitive personal information. Appropriate data-processing terms must be agreed before processing real client information. The public demo uses fictional cases and does not load customer records.

10

Student profiles and sharing

Saved student profiles store the information you enter, such as contact details, education, tests, interests, activities and funding preferences, in your account on the server. Profiles are private by default. Selecting a profile for your own shortlist or application does not share it with schools or other people. Profile content is not included in browser shortlist backups.

You can give a named family member or counselor read-only access to selected sections until a date you choose. Recipients must sign in with their verified email; a link alone does not grant access. Shared sections include future edits. You can revoke access or delete your profile and its permissions. Information already viewed or copied by recipients cannot be recalled. Profile sharing does not include application essays or shortlist notes.

The installable SAA web app uses the same account and server records as the browser. Private records require a connection; the app’s offline cache contains only the public offline page and app icons.
