Grades, stages, and local pathways
Okul öncesi / pre-primary
Pre-primary provision precedes compulsory primary education.
İlkokul · Grades 1–4
Four primary years form the first stage of the 4+4+4 school structure.
Ortaokul · Grades 5–8
Four lower-secondary years lead to general, science, vocational, religious, and other high-school types.
Lise · Grades 9–12
Upper-secondary school type determines subject depth and vocational or academic emphasis.
Associate and bachelor’s higher education
Domestic selection uses YKS while international applicants follow institution and applicant-category rules.
