Menengah rendah · Forms 1–3
Lower-secondary study leads into academic, technical, vocational, or other upper-secondary routes.
Menengah atas · Forms 4–5 / SPM
Upper-secondary schooling commonly culminates in SPM, followed by post-secondary options such as STPM or foundation study.
Form 6 / matriculation / diploma / higher education
University entry depends on the post-secondary qualification and institution requirements.
